5’2” & curvy. Brown eyes, pale blonde hair, mid-back length when it’s down but usually worn in a ponytail.

Personality:

A big nerd who’s loved science since she was a kid. Resigns from the Void Knights  and surrenders her research after the events of Void Stares Back, but still wants to study the world. Can often be found wandering around the forest sketching/studying plants & animals and bringing samples back to her lab. Introverted, but coming out of her shell as she processes her grief.

Weapons:

Absolutely not a fighter but keeps Korasi’s sword as a memento.

  ‍Ana - After Korasi’s death, Ana realized Jess was just as lost as she’d been when Cyrisus died & immediately went into protect mode. At some point down the line they realized there was a spark but took it slow because they’re both still grieving.

  ‍Ariane - studied together at the Wizards’ Tower, kept in touch after Jessika went off to the Void Knights & she was expelled from the Tower - they still write letters & Ariane visits occasionally whenever her adventures lead her nearby.

  Tomas [OC] - a Void Knight who became very interested in her research & served as her protector when she was gathering pest samples. They had lunch together almost every day & he misses her since she’s distanced herself from the Void Knights.

Backstory

Grew up in Rimmington, went to study at the Wizards’ Tower in her teens. Learned to use a blend of magic & science to study organic matter. [first two void quests happened, it’s been too long and i don’t actually remember the key points right now]. She was recruited by the Void Knights after the events of A Void Dance & became an official researcher in her mid 20s. VSB happens ~3 years later, she and Korasi are together for 2ish years. In current time she’s just turned 30 & is building a life with Ana.

Fun Facts

• Cringes if you call her an artist, but has a talent for sketching from life
• Loves cats almost as much as Ana [read this either way, they’re both valid lol]
• Absolutely cannot cook & is super frustrated by it, but the harder she tries to learn the worse her attempts come out
