Nelle is a jolly lumberjack working for the lumber mill east of Varrock. Her helpful nature gets her into trouble, and she ends up in wacky quest-like situations when she’s just trying to do her lumber delivery job!
Nelle is 6’2, although not a bodybuilder, she is pretty muscular as a consequence of her labor in the mill, she ALWAYS has something covering her ears. Whether it’s her earmuffs or her hair… Why? No one knows.
Nelle is a very neighborly, helpful lass! From wobbly tables to crafting stakes to drive into vampyres, Nelle the woodswoman is always happy to help! While she may have the backbone of a soggy piece of drift wood, she's very reliable. She’s generally a sweetie, but later (esp In the 6th age) experience outside of varrock gives her the ability to get a little rude, New Yorker style! (Or Varrocker style…?)
General axes / self crafted bows throughout the free-to-play quests until she finally gets Balmung and sticks with it until early 6th age.
Ascension crossbows early 6th age, to Blight Bound crossbows mid-6th age until the EGWD story line.
Then of course she gets the Fractured staff of Armadyl, but swaps to the Bow of the Last Guardian post 6th age.
Nelle Yoodsman grew up in the slums of Varrock. Although it was rough living in a poor neighborhood she received the reputation as the town's handywoman which helped her keep good relations with her neighbors. When she grew old enough she got a job as a lumber mill helper, and eventually started being the main lumber delivery woman. This was a turning point as her deliveries always wound up turning into quests. A request for a table being fixed ends in her helping a cook bake a cake in lumbridge, or a delivery for firewood in draynor ends up with her stabbing a vampire with a stake, etc etc.
