Overview

A young Ardougnese noblewoman, Frances is very determined: to find out the truth about the plague, to support her cousin who has become the World Guardian, to right wrongs done by her family and upper society and mostly just to do entirely as she pleases.

Description

Tall and thin. Blonde hair pulled back in a bun. 5th age: loose white top and black pants; later for combat, a stolen Ardougne Knight armor set with the Saradomin star ripped off. 6th age: Inquisitor armor, with the Zamorakian symbol missing from the belt. After her failed solo Zeah trip, wears a black lace eyepatch over her right eye.

Personality:

Polite, refined and typically social (or good at acting like it). Prone to harboring resentment and thoughts of vengeance. Stubborn, and much more impulsive and emotional than she lets on.

5th age: chaotic rapier, 6th age: Ghrazi rapier

Key Relationships

• Percy: Her younger brother. Frances deeply cares for him and still refuses to forgive their parents for forcing him into the Knights. When he is thought dead, Frances becomes cold and thoroughly vengeful.
  Bonnie: Her cousin, though before she is sent to meet Bonnie neither know the other exists. Doesn’t always agree with the way she does things but she’s still glad to support her.
  ‍Orfeo: Reluctantly considers him a valuable member of the team, but the poor initial impression he made still lingers.
  ‍Marlene: Friendly rival-turned-lover, Marlene is the light of Frances’ life.

Backstory

Eldest daughter of a noble family who’s always tried to stay clear of their drama, but has nevertheless often been affected by it. After meeting Bonnie, an attempt to learn what happened to a childhood friend in East Ardougne drags her into much deeper mysteries - and adventure.

Fun Facts

• Loves writing letters to people she knows (so when she doesn’t send anything it’s a tell that something’s up)
• Practiced swordplay as a hobby before adventuring, but intensified her training after losing an eye to a lizardman.
• Concerningly good at crime. (If she hadn’t been rich, she’d have made an excellent pickpocket…)
